WAYS TO SUPPORT FBCS
Educating and training our students at FBCS costs more than what tuition alone provides. Therefore, to supplement our budget and provide funds for special events and activities to enhance the learning at FBCS, we rely on many varied programs to raise extra revenue. Thank you for partnering with us!
Clip your Boxtops for Education for FBCS and turn them into the office. This year, 50% of the monies raised will be awarded to the top four classes to spend on enhancements for their classrooms.
When doing any shopping online, visit the Boxtops Marketplace first to find current deals and also automatically give a portion of your purchase back to FBCS.
Register your Stop and Shop card here and a portion of your purchases, food or gas, will be given back to FBCS. Our school code is 05893. This program runs from October through March each year. Last year we earned just a little over $1000. Help us surpass that amount this year!

Each fall we hold a 3 week long fundraiser using companies like Yankee Candle or Charleston Wrap. We typically raise about $2500 which is used to supplement the Parent-Teacher Fellowship fund and any smaller projects to enhance the students' learning environment. In recent years, we have increased the technological resources used by the students and installed a video security monitoring system for our main entrance.
Our Race for Education is held on the first Friday in May each year. Students send out sponsor letters in advance and on Race Day, students run, jog and walk a 1/4 mile route around the school grounds for one hour. Parents, grandparents and other friends line the route to cheer the students on and prizes are awarded for the most laps run as well as the most funds raised. The fundraiser generally nets about $15,000 which is used for major renovation or upgrade projects. Over the past few years, we have been able to renovate the student bathrooms, upgrade the library, purchase interactive whiteboards and projectors for every classroom, replace carpeting in the classrooms and replace aging student furniture.
Students in grades 7 and 8 hold their own fundraisers, selling various types of candy bars and pretzel sticks to raise monies for their year end trip to Spruce Lake Outdoor School. All of the profits are designated directly to the student according to their own sales. Last year, two students were able to completely cover the cost of their trip!
